Regardless of which kind of dancing you wish to discover, it is never too late to discover how to dance. I began dancing with Leilah 2 years ago- I signed up with one more dance courses at the time and also just fell for Leilah in comparison. Her power, compassion, patience and training abilities made me intend to turn up for class repeatedly- as well as before this I 'd never ever appropriately danced neither committed to anything because of work scheduling. We used memory-work as a method to reflect upon our performance experience and also to think about dance as a physical expression of our mature "selves-as-subjects" (Schwaiger, 2005, p. 116). Memory-work was developed in the 1980s by a team of German females that, drawing on Marxist feminism, wanted to study female sexualization (Haug, 1987; Stephenson, 2005).
