Despite which sort of dance you wish to find out, it is never ever too late to find out exactly how to dance. I began dancing with Leilah 2 years ago- I signed up with another dance courses at the time as well as simply loved Leilah in comparison. Her energy, compassion, patience and also training abilities made me want to turn up for course repeatedly- and also prior to this I would certainly never appropriately danced neither devoted to anything because of work organizing. We utilized memory-work as a method to contemplate our efficiency experience and to theorize regarding dance as a bodily expression of our mature "selves-as-subjects" (Schwaiger, 2005, p. 116). Memory-work was created in the 1980s by a group of German females that, drawing on Marxist feminism, wanted to research women sexualization (Haug, 1987; Stephenson, 2005).
